Term 2: Room 15: Wednesday April 15th

Here is some holiday work from Lena.

Thank you for sharing the extra work you're putting in Lena!

Aurélien has spent a bit of time creating a 3D Pokemon for his dad. He used the 'recycled materials' activity.

It is a worm and it went up to the tree and there was a witch who turned him into a giant worm. It was trying to attack the forest city. The guard was surprised and then he said to the giant worm "You are not a giant worm, you are a worm!". The giant worm went back home because he realised he was sleepwalking. The end.

Science with Aerin
We are using these challenge cards from the James Dyson Foundation - they are science and engineering challenges for kids 7 and up. The spaghetti bridge building challenge was really fun (had to hold 200g of sugar).

Thanks for sharing Aerin!

  2. Lena, I love how you incorporated the flowers in your art! It's so bright and cheerful. Aurélien, what a creative set of works you have there. It's wonderful to see materials being repurposed into something new, showing lots of care for Papatūānuku and getting to strengthen your ability to think outside the box (even though you are using boxes! haha)
Thanks for sharing those science challenges, Aerin! How long did you have to spend on that spaghetti bridge?? It looks really carefully thought out. What a sweet letter from Kalesita. I'm sure you made Joanna's day!
