Room 13 Thursday 23rd April

Today we were laughing at Matthews hiccups so I had him research what a hiccup is and then he wrote a hiccup haiku.

Haiku by Matthew:

He has also been doing the Word Fit in the NZ herald with his dad. He is learning loads of new words in the process.

And now over to Isaac for the weather..

Hello I’m Isaac reporting for the Auckland weather service in the east of Auckland There will be thundery and stormy down pours. It’s looking very bad out there today in Auckland. Looking at it again it doesn’t look like it will clear. Westerly winds and a very low temperature so I suggest you take a rain coat or umbrella.
It’s not just the rain you have to worry about there’s a blustery gale today as well. The high in Auckland today is 10. That’s it for today, be safe out there. Bye

Thank you Isaac.
