Room 17 Rātū / Tuesday 5th May

Angus

Dropped his first ever limerick. Now I know where to find you Angus, I will leave my wallet at home though!

Francis

Has been busy working on Tuesday's inquiry. The task involved looking at some mystery paintings and responding to some prompts.
1. How does the painting make you feel? 2. Do you like the painting, yes or no, and why? 3. What would you call the painting if you had to name it?
Francis also chose to research one of the paintings and the artist.

Sabrina

Attempts to launch her rocket into outer space, or at least the upper atmosphere in the dinning room. Sabrina created this cool poster to show how much larger than Earth the sun is. We worked out that if the Earth was 1 millimetre then the sun would be 1 kilometre long!

  1. Wow Sabrina, your rocket went so high! How many times did you have to try it out? Francis, it was really interesting reading your insight into the paintings! Thanks for your thoughtful reflections and relating the tree to your own farm. Angus, what a funny limerick! It's really helpful how you colour coded the rhyming patterns, and now I know to practice lots and lots before I play sport with you....!
